Folks,
Why must you have a god next to you? Why must you be watched over by a god? Why do you need a god? For what? What does having a god achieve in your life? What drives humans into this delusion of god? I ask this because it is the most futile exercise, not even worth debating. You always worry, you always have to read an outdated book, called the Bible, you have to wed in Church, just because of that invisible character called god? You have to shout like mad men and women every Sunday in the name of god, creating so much noise pollution! Then you allow these liars called pastors to swindle you of your hard earned cash!

Do you see how silly it sounds?

You see, god does not exist. Humans exist. Even if you shout his name, pray to him, he does not exist; he will hear nothing, do nothing and feel nothing because he does not exist. But why do you still hold the belief that he exists?

Why don’t you relax? Be at ease. To hell with god! Get rid of him. Just wish him away, and start living without god. This is how to do it.

Stop going to church.
Stop praying
Stop fasting
Stop reading the bible, its a waste of time.

Then look for other fun things to do. Spend more time reading a philosophical book, a novel, try cooking some dish, get yourself some dress, go to school, expand your knowledge.

You may just realize that you can do without god.

Think about the god you worship for a second!

That God has gotten confused. He has! He has told a great number of different folks in different Christian churches that their particular church is the Only one he accepts as being the True Body of Christ. Catholic, Protestant, Evangelicals, Anglicans, Jehovah Witnesses … all of them are the only ones!

He has even told some of these people that members of other churches will not go to heaven (theirs). God told some people, by way of revelation, that some of the other churches are actually churches of the Devil. He said some of these other churches are actually “the great whore” mentioned in the New Testament as a terrible offense to God and man.

God, yes, your god, that God you worship is confused!

It always amazes me how many times this God orders the killing of innocent people even after the Ten Commandments said “Thou shall not kill”. For example, God kills 70,000 innocent people because David ordered a census of the people (1 Chronicles 21). God also orders the destruction of 60 cities so that the Israelites can live there. He orders the killing of all the men, women, and children of each city, and the looting of all of value (Deuteronomy 3). He orders another attack and the killing of “all the living creatures of the city: men and women, young, and old, as well as oxen sheep, and asses” (Joshua 6).

In Judges 21, He orders the murder of all the people of Jabesh-gilead, except for the virgin girls who were taken to be forcibly raped and married. When they wanted more virgins, God told them to hide alongside the road and when they saw a girl they liked, kidnap her and forcibly rape her and make her your wife! Just about every other page in the Old Testament has God killing somebody! In 2 Kings 10:18-27, God orders the murder of all the worshipers of a different god in their very own church! In total God kills 371,186 people directly and orders another 1,862,265 people murdered.

The God of the Bible also allows slavery, including selling your own daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 and Isaiah 13:16), and bashing babies against rocks (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms 137:9).

This type of criminal behavior should shock any moral person. Murder, rape, pillage, plunder, slavery, and child abuse can not be justified by saying that some god says it’s OK. If more people would actually sit down and read the Bible there would be a lot more atheists like myself.

~ First Commandment: Do not do to others what you would not want them to do to you.

~ Second Commandment: In all things, strive to cause no harm.

~ Third Commandment: Treat your fellow human beings, your fellow living things, and the world in general with love, honesty, faithfulness and respect.

~ Fourth Commandment: Do not overlook evil or shrink from administering justice, but always be ready to forgive wrongdoing freely admitted and honestly regretted.

~ Fifth Commandment: Live life with a sense of joy and wonder.

~ Sixth Commandment: Always seek to be learning something new.

~ Seventh Commandment: Test all things; always check your ideas against the facts, and be ready to discard even a cherished belief if it does not conform to them.

~ Eighth Commandment: Never seek to censor or cut yourself off from dissent; always respect the right of others to disagree with you.

~ Ninth Commandment: Form independent opinions on the basis of your own reason and experience; do not allow yourself to be led blindly by others.

~ Tenth Commandment: Question everything.

In comments that may shock some staunch Catholics, Cardinal George Pell has described the biblical story of Adam and Eve as a myth.
He appeared alongside renowned evolutionary biologist and atheist, Professor Richard Dawkins, on the ABC’s Q&A program last night.
Cardinal Pell said the existence of Adam and Eve was not a matter of science but rather a mythological account.
“It’s a very sophisticated mythology to try to explain the evil and the suffering in the world,” he said.
“It’s a religious story told for religious purposes.”
According to Genesis, God created Adam and Eve as the first man and woman and all people are descended from them.
Cardinal Pell’s explosive comments came after he was questioned about evolution.
He said it was impossible to say when there was a first human.
It is widely accepted in the scientific community that life on Earth has evolved over about four billion years.

Let’s say that you were to create a news network, and you somehow had the capacity to observe all of the inexplicable tragedy that occurs on Earth each day:

• all of the murders,
• all of the car wrecks
• all of the rapes
• all of the mutilations
• all of the torture
• all the miscarriages and stillbirths
• all of the disease
• all of the starvation
• all of the destruction
• all of the terrorism

Let’s say you had a news feed that delivered this all to you in real time.
Just ten minutes with this news feed would be unbearable. Thousands of tragic, heart wrenching events would impinge themselves upon you every minute. It would make you vomit over and over and over again until you passed out in exhaustion and despair.

In other words, the amount of gut-wrenching, anguished tragedy in our world is unspeakable.

Meanwhile, there is a housewife in Buruburu who firmly believes that God answered her prayer this morning to make the stain on her dress dissapear. She prayed to God, and after washing her dress with JIK, the stain was gone! Praise Jesus! There are thousands of people in Kenya who firmly believe that God is personally helping them each day with their trivial prayers like this. They believe that they have a personal relationship with God, that God hears their prayers each day, and that God has time to reach down and remove the mustard molecules one by one. They believe it with all of their hearts.

It makes you wonder: If God has the time and the will to answer these trivial prayers, then why does he have no time for the millions of other massively serious problems that arise on earth every day?

Simply look at the world we live in. All around us we have murderers, rapists, robbers, child molesters, terrorists, etc… How do they do their deeds? If God is all-knowing and God answers prayers, then we have to believe that:

• God watches them as they murder, rape, molest and terrorize other people millions of times a day, but he does nothing to stop them.
• God watches the victims as they are being murdered, raped, molested and terrorized, but he does nothing to help them.
• God completely ignores the prayers of the planet to eliminate murder, rape, child molestation and terrorism and allows these atrocities to continue unabated.

Do you believe in a God who acts like this? Of course not. If you believe that God is specifically reaching down from heaven to answer your trivial prayer, while at the same time God is allowing 27,000 children to die of starvation each day by specifically ignoring their prayers, then your God is insane.
